****WELCOME FRIENDS****
I am artist of texture and color. I enjoy working with textiles, mixed media and the graphic arts. I am an avid cottage gardener with a love for pass along plants and big fluffy pink peonies and pink roses. Many of my tangible creations reflect my love of the garden and all its wonderful colors. I have been selling my creations online since 2002 beginning as a hobby. After 10 years I quit the day job to pursue my art as a full time passion.

Cottage colors Party~White

Joining on the party at Etsy Cottage Style blog

The color for June is WHITE

Sharing a couple vintage pieces handed down from grandma to mom to me...
This is a vintage 50's TV lamp with white birds. It was always my favorite. Even tho now it doesn't serve the same purpose as it did back then, I love to put fresh flowers in it during the summer.

An interesting single pineapple crochet doily

This lovely little frog vase is a fave for those tiny flowers from the garden

then I had to step outside to my garden this time of year and there is plenty of white!
I have been blogging a lot about my cottage garden this season. It is now in it's 6th year and becoming the glorious place I dreamed it would be.

Above is a gorgeous Hollyhock!

Glamis Castle English rose

 False Queen Annes Lace

 Chocolate Delphinium

Hope you enjoyed~Please join us with your favorite white treasures!

Beautiful "whites"....I am an avid gardener, so enjoyed seeing all the "pretties"...in fact I just came in from my garden for a "coffee" break and clicked on your blog while the coffee was brewing...my hollyhocks have just started to open, but I don't have any white ones...thanks for sharing!

Love, love, love your choices for the White color party with Etsy Cottage Style! I am envious of your hollyhocks, Queen Anne's lace and the English roses! Here in Phoenix, we aren't able to grow these beauties! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Debbi, Beautiful white post and I especially love the white hollyhocks. The deer eat mine before they can do anything. :( but I can enjoy yours. Wish I could take a walk through your cottage garden. Is that an old Hendryx birdcage I see? xo

Hi Debbi....Oh, I would to come and stroll through your lovely garden...your Hollyhocks are to die for. Mine get their wonderful big leaves all eaten by by bugs and they wind up looking like brown lace....not as pretty as it might sound!
Your treasures are so sweet and love your TV light and how you use it!
Sorry I am so late, it has been busy around here! lol!
Hugs,
Jil
PS
Love your banner!
