My daughter and I attended a wonderful Christmas Brunch at our Church today, then headed over to one of the local craft bazaars at the middle school. I took 40 bucks, spent it all, and wrote two checks! I did actually buy a couple of gifts, but most of it was for myself. I met an incredible young talented gal whose art composition was just amazing. Hard to describe her look. A bit rustic prim style as she used lots of burlap with dark brown and burgandy colors. But she also mixed in a lot of old world sparkle and glitter, a vintage sheet music. I am looking forward to seeing her non Christmas creations too.
Below is one of the pieces I bought from her....Just love how the rustic bell forms the "o". Simple elegance.
Below are some lovely Victorian art from a new local artist
The framed mixed media piece will be perfect displayed with my "Joy" above
I also picked up some lovely bookmarks which will be given as gifts.
Below is a plate on a pedestal...for FIVE BUCKS!
this is going to be wonderful in a table centerpiece!
When that is done I will share. I am excited about the fireplace mantle this year...I have lots of new elements to add, so will be sharing that too!

Debbi...it's just plain beautiful..I love it! Your blog is always so soft and delicate looking. I keep saying I am going to have one like yours...but I love mine so much..perhaps next year I will go softer. My living room is much softer than the rest of the house.
I tend to over decorate I think...
I can't wait to see what you do in your home. I love everything you do..and am always torn between the rich colors and the soft pinks. My bathroom has pink walls, white trim and cabinets and the soft green rugs. All pink roses..and so is the living room. I love the rose reds and pinks together.
I am 74, Debbi and have NO clue who I am! :)
I never fail to be amazed at how you come up with such gorgeous things...I am in awe!!
Hugs,
Mona
p.s. I bought a smaller tree this year too...but..but..sort of wish it was a bit bigger as it is going to be so thick with ornaments you won't be able to see the poor tree! I have 55 years of stuff! :)
You found some wonderful things at the bazaar Debbi. I love CHristmas bazaars. I love buying from local artists and am always amzined by the talents out their.
I ADORE your new Santa header!!!!!!!!!!
hugs
Ooh my you had a 12ft tree once? I love your spread of holiday cheer around the house. I look forward to seeing your tree.
Blah, blah, blah...and forgot to say what I wanted to say in the first place.
I love the "joy" made with music...probably the most. The plate is neat...as is everything..but..the musical "joy" got me...:)
Debbi, I just love your blog design. I love the pink Santa's too and have been trying to get my house decorated. I will forward to seeing the rest of your decorating!
I know she said she wouldn't get a 12 ft tree but the one she picked out is darn close, if not 12 ft. HAHAHA!! :o)
Can't wait to put up the decorations I picked up on my desk at work. Both ladies are so talented.
LOVE your pink Santa and all the goodies you found too. I know your decorations will be beautiful!
