What's cookin in the cottage kitchen blog party January

Fun new blog party! I have lots of old advertising images, I thought I would share this one today that is from the mid-1950's. It was in Life magazine. Brings back some old memories.....

thank goodness lemonade stands are one thing kids do today just like we did. My grand-daughter did one during her parent's yard sale and made as much money as they did. She's saving for something special. Happy New Year Debbi. I read about your New Year's get-away. How wonderful!

Debbi - let me tell you - I have all those flowers blooming where I live in Florida.

However, I long for the snow and cold! You must remember how blessed you are to have seasons! While warm weather year round may sound heavenly - it is utterly boring. I'm a native Floridian and would love to live ANYWHERE north.

Hugs!
