****WELCOME FRIENDS****
I am artist of texture and color. I enjoy working with textiles, mixed media and the graphic arts. I am an avid cottage gardener with a love for pass along plants and big fluffy pink peonies and pink roses. Many of my tangible creations reflect my love of the garden and all its wonderful colors. I have been selling my creations online since 2002 beginning as a hobby. After 10 years I quit the day job to pursue my art as a full time passion.

Early 1900 magazine cover images

I have been big into my graphic art design lately...something that I had put on the back burner for quite sometime. But now that I have quit the day job, I have been focusing more on my passions. I have a HUGE library of images that I most likely will never use, but can't bring myself to hit the "delete" key. So sharing a few today of early 1900 magazine covers. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Right click to save to your computer pic files.

Today I am joining in on the new party at Etsy Cottage Style Blog....join us and share your vintage treasures!

Good Morning Debbi, I adore these vintage magazine covers.
I smiled when I read the information at the bottom of the last photograph... Dorothy Dix praises the homemaker of today.... as Dix was my maiden name. Ivy my grandmother was Ivy Dix, my gramps was John Dix, my father was David Dix and my mother is Phyllis Dix.
Phew.....that is a lot of Dix's.
I enjoyed this post as I enjoy reading and owning vintage books, papers and magazines.
Have a lovely day.
Best Wishes
Daphne

I love these, Debbi! I purchased an old trunk about thirty years ago when hubby was in DC. It was back when the rage was to redo them. The first one I purchased was full of old magazines and I was more excited about them then I was the trunk. I never did redo those old trunks and the one with the magazines is in the basement. I have one cover I wanted to make into an image, but my expertise is not what yours is and so it, too just sits. lol!
I enjoyed all your wonderful old covers!

Truly beautiful magazine covers and just look at the price, they were only 10 cents, wow. Don't blame you, I would not get rid of these either. Hugs...Lu
